The new movie didn't suck like I expected. It had a lot of problems though. I wouldn't have cast any of those people. They were not fun for me to look at.

Tip to Hollywood, if you can show an actresses face without her looking strange due to botched surgeries, don't cast her. I'm saddened to see what Liv has had done to her looks.

The storyline was weak. A all too common thing these days.

The nods to the previous shows and Stan Lee were some of the fav moments!

The action scenes were so over the top I went to sleep. My son was outraged at that. LMAO!

I finally got to see the movie. Definitely, better than the first. I see what you mean about Marvel gathering up the Avengers. Sweeeet!

I should really see this movie, but the recent storm has made the city into a Waterworld. :(

I agree Nicholas. And remember the words of Bruce banner "You wouldn't like me when I'm Ang Lee".
Usually the worse thing a movie can try to do is what they did to Popeye-- take an entire movie to explain who a character the audience has known for decades is. Marvel has at east recognised when its okay to do this (Iron Man) and when its really not much needed (the new Hulk movie).

Guys, since the last two Marvel flicks (Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk) have ended with set-up scenes for The Avengers, I imagine they're gearing up to launch both Thor and Captain America, culminating in an Avengers movie. What makes this seem so promising (if it were on the heels of the FF trash, I would care less) is that the first two Marvel-produced films have done better justice to the characters than any previous adaptations. Marvel knows these characters; they obviously have a vested interest in treating them right, and it shows. Far different from the typical Hollywood approach: Let's buy this property so we can immediately see how many ways we can completely gut it!

Hey Thirdy - there's been a Thor movie in the works for a looooooong time - last I heard was a possible 2009 release. I'm really looking forward to it, so I sure hope so.

I remember the movie. (Haven't seen the latter either.) :)

When I first read the thread title, I thought you were talking about the new Hulk movie (Edward Norton), which I can't wait to see.

Marvel ought to do a Thor movie.

With Thor! smilewinkgrin

Fun, fun, fun flick!  I picked up a two disc Hulk special at Half-Price Books today, or yesterday I guess, with this movie and The Trial of the Incredible Hulk (with Daredevil) in it. I haven't watched the latter yet, but the former was just a fun flick. Hanging out with Thor could be really cool! devil
