I've been going through a bunch of movies I missed while I was away, and Jumper is, by far, the best of the lot so far.

Really? I couldn't stand it, personally. I found the main character to be thoroughly unlikeable, leaving me with no desire to see him succeed. Quite the opposite, in fact. And they didn't really convince me that the "bad guys" were in the wrong, either.

Maybe Hayden Christensen wasn't the best choice for the lead role. But what do I know? I can't act.

Jared, I didn't say JUMPER was awesome. I just mentioned it was the best movie I've watched so far (I'm going through a list of movies I haven't seen yet). After sitting through MEET THE SPARTANS and AVP2, JUMPER was a movie I could enjoy.

Fair enough.  It's not in the best of company with those two.  At least Jumper had some nice effects.

I liked the story concept but too often they got so caught up in what they could do. Things got so busy on screen I couldn't keep up. It wasn't a fav of mine.
