Loved him in Blazing Saddles. ONe of my favourite villians. Some of his lines are fantastic! His bit to camera - and why am I asking you? - is constantly hilarious, no matter how many times I see it.

There has been a good side on his passing for me though - the Carol Burnett show. Never even heard of this before but a brilliant show an he and Tim Conway are amazingly funny together. Outtakes are great too.

He and Tim Conway have been regularly performing in Reno for years now, which is only couple hours away from me. I always kept meaning to go and see them, knowing they couldn't do it for too much longer. That I never got to go will always be something I regret.
