He was 60. Mr. Gerber wrote some of my favorite comic book stories, including his work on the Defenders.         Date Joined Jul 2005 Total Posts : 69 | Posted 2/15/2008 1:36 PM (GMT -4) |   | I have the “lawsuit” edition of Destroyer Duck, illustrated by Jack Kirby. The book was published to help Gerber raise funds for his lawsuit against Marvel. It was a beautiful book (Kirby drawing ducks with guns!) and contained some great barbs against Marvel.
