=========== Folks,
I would have liked to keep this one quiet for a little while, but because of upcoming conventions and of course the need to keep my publishers informed, it seems to me unfair to withhold the news. I have been diagnosed with a very rare form of early onset Alzheimer's, which lay behind this year's phantom "stroke". ============

This is a very painful thing to hear, and something terribly painful for him to have to announce. The site belongs to Paul Kidby, Terry's prefered artist. | | Back to Top

This sucks in a big way. I just love his books, and hope he will be able to continue writing until long after the rest of us are gone. And I still haven't forgiven the universe for killing Douglas Adams.
This year has not been kind to authors whose works I own large numbers of. First Robert Jordan and now this. | | Back to Top

Typical of him.
I have a book shelf, upon which sit two types of books.
David Gemmell and Terry Pratchett.
I lost one last year, and I don't want to lose the other anytime soon.
Seriously, take a celebrity writer! Please!
Unfortunately, this may get him more attention (I say unfortunately as it's for the wrong reason)
So maybe there can be something to take on a positive note. | | Back to Top
