The story is the originator of the podcast still owned the registration on the name. It expired, and as it happens, he released it so he doesn't have control over it any longer. Meanwhile, that means I have to wait at least 46 days before I can potentially get the name back. Alas! Stuck between a rock and a hard place on that one.
But, I can still operate until then, since the name pointed to a subdirectory on my site, it can be accessed via that route for the time being:
http://raygunradio.rlcopple.com
If anyone has links to http://www.raygunradio.com, you'll want to switch them to the above domain name. Plus, when I get the name back, it will still work and you won't have to change them back.
Sorry for any confusion. I can only hope a good number of our listeners will stick with us through this period.
