Hi folks,

I've just come from the Critters.org web site to vote in their annual poll for favorite novels, tales, magazines, editors, publishers and so on.  More importtant, they have a section for the best writers groups, information webstites for writers, and news sites for writers.  I wrote in SFReader.com for all three.  Voting closes on 1/15/08.  You will find the site at http://www.critters.org/predpoll/ .  Vote early and often!  ;-)

Get out that vote!

I'm 3rd in the sf/f short category (woo hoo!), and there are lots of other SFReader regulars there as well.

My short story, "No Revolution is Too Big", has also been nominated. If you could click the link below and vote for me, I would appreciate it.  My story is currently listed at #6, and I would like to move a little higher in the rankings.

#6 isn't a bad ranking, Mike. There are a lot of stories in that nomination list.

Wow. Just saw that my story "The Wicked Deed" is on the P&E poll. I can't figure out what place it's in, but I'm overjoyed that someone actually voted for it.

And I have no idea who nominated my story "The Clone Wrangler's Bride", but it -- astoundingly -- ended up at #7.

I'll try to make it, though all the writers I'll be palling around with this time will probably be...you know...fictionistas.  No more journalists up my sleeve.
