Well, I did a backward sort of web-page and blog thing and got a page on Yahoo 360. With a blog, where in I will occasionally talk about writing. To check out my blog
blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-MFuZe.k0aadJ.n3zbegeNHWewTqY3dzc7o8-?cq=1
Please, any of you with Yahoo 360 feel free to make friends.
I'm not sure about blogging, but I'll give it a whirl.
And yes, Daniel, as soon as I figure out how I'll link to the web-comic.

Mike, I, er, well . . . I didn't expect your blonde hair to be so long.

Welcome to the world of blogging, where your verbosity can know no bounds. Wait. What am I saying!? Sorry, I don't use Yahoo 360 but I'll still be your friend.

I have a Yahoo account I seldom use.  I added the blog to the My Yahoo page without a problem, then tried the access.  Have to "complete registration" for 360 for that.

I have a yahoo home page for my news, etc, but no 360 account. I can view/read the blog but can't post or connect as Mike's "friend" without it. So, if you want to post, you have to get two accounts, Yahoo's and the 360's. Otherwise, just read it and learn from a sagely master!

Or should I do SFBlogger for you guys?

Can we get blogs here?

Maybe I should start one so I won't keep hijacking other people's threads!

Set me up!

Nice start, now you need to post insightful thoughts... or just random garbage like 90% of the blogs out there, either way people will read it.

Mike, how are you going to come up with more to say after typing here? I lose so much time here it's unbelievable! You could just copy and paste your comments to a whole new audience. Hey, that's not a bad idea. Then you could bring the feedback you get here and we could all learn from you. You'd be like the recon unit for SFReader!

Oh, and Armand surely didn't lump my blog into that 90% . . . lol

Well, thats the rub. I post too much here as it is. My writing is actually down to a crawl lately, though thats not really due to time I spend here. It is the rude and inconsiderate people I work for, not leaving me enough time to write at work. lol

Mike, you should be able to add your blog link to your profile so that it activates that little house icon by your avatar. That way, anyone who wants can go there with a single click.

Dan-

I was suggesting the use of a personal forum as a platform for your blog. However, if there was interest, I could put together a 'real' blog platform, eother integrated into the site or as a seperate site.

Howard,

Of course your blog is one of the exceptions... you're in the excluded 10% (around the 6% mark I believe if I'm keeping score)... no idea what that really means.

Mike: I hope you enjoy blogging. I started one a few months ago, primarily to promote my writing. But an old friend from long ago Goggled my name one day, and since then I've regained contact with a lot of very good friends who scattered hither and yon.

It has been quite an experience.

Erazmus,

I saw on your site that you like T.Rex. I got my brother-in-law hooked on them, and he just bought a copy of The Slider that has another disc called The Alternate Slider with some outtakes. He loaned it to me and looks like there's a track called Thunderwing and the extended play has Lady and Sunken Rags and Cadilac. I don't think I've heard those. I'll give it a spin this weekend.

P.S. I also have a bootleg with Bowie and Marc Bolan doing some tunes. They have a song called Madman that kicks ass. Never polished and never released, but it's way better than the crap on the radio these days.

Christopher,
If you are looking for good radio these days, try the Alice Cooper show. Five hours a night, five nights a week of great stuff!

I was listening to Q95 out of Indy, and they advertised the Alice Cooper Show, but I'll be at work when it's on...

Now, you wouldn't happen to have a larger version of the scantily clad sorceress, would you, Erazmus? Definitely would increase traffic to your site. devil

Eryl,
You've got to be talking about the photo of Silverdrake. I have larger versions but I can't get the display larger. As Silverdrake is my wife, I'm limited to what I can do with her picture. She gets a tad protective from time to time.
It is a great picture though, taken at the seventeenth Pennsic War in 1988. She keeps threatening to get back into shape and pose for another. Maybe I can get her to set for a painting sometime, it'd make a nice book cover . . .

Oh, she's your wife. 1988, that'd explain it, she was younger back then. Nice outfit.
