So the secret is to come out with an anthology that goes with a game, it sounds like. Armand, any plans for a card game? or role-playing game?

That seems startlingly true! Here we've been talking about print mags combined with a web presence when, you know, it seems like one might have greater chances for success if there also was a television series/movie deal/rpg/trading card game/video game/etc. the whole works, like STAR WARS or BUFFY or DUNGEONS & DRAGONS.

Hm. I don't know whether I'm excited or depressed by this notion.

It's not 100% "true," of course. But it does seem like a trend. All media concerned with a single franchise seem to be barnacles attached to the hull of the ship that was the original medium - like Philip K. Dick and Stephen King movies are attached to the original, which was the book (though how many people find the books because of the giant ad campaign which is the movie?). Video games spawn movies. Comics do too. The BBC DOCTOR WHO series commissions a series of short novels...

It would work great with Carnifex press as they have one unified series written in one world.
